Are we ever going to win a game comfortably?

If DCL buried that chance it would have been 2-0 tonight and would have been a lot more comfortable.

Same on Monday night if we’d have scored some of those early chances we’d have been able to control the game a lot more and won comfortably.

Performances are not outstanding but we are scoring goals, keeping clean sheets and winning. What more is there to want at this stage in the season?

We are in 4th place with virtually two months of football to be played. We’ve missed a lot of key players due to injury and had to use make shift fullbacks and make do with poor midfielders and no right side what so ever for a good 70% of the season. It’s miraculous we are where we are.

But we’re winning and have won 3 games in a row playing the same way. We need to stop looking at negatives. Look where we are in the table and that’s not even us playing at our best.

We've only played well in one of our last 5 games.

We're riding our luck atm, which if we don't improve our play will eventually run out.

Southampton and today could easily have been draws and everyone would be fuming, as usual.

Great to see Chippy Tit in such a rage. His hair was all over the place!

Also, my heart can't take these last minute scares anymore

If we can recapture our early season form things could get very interesting.
Exactly with Allan getting fitter and James due back with Davies looking decent and Richy on fire with DCL still to go on another run it’s exciting. Things will improve no doubt about it. It’s hard to watch and Im the first to get frustrated in heat of the moment but it’s looking good.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda, 3 games, 3 clean sheets, 3 wins. One ending a 20 odd year record, one ending a poor run at home, one allowing us to equal a record not matched since 1986 (record number of away wins). It’s simple. Sign of a good team when you’re winning but not playing great. Whatever way you look at it it’s positive and progress.
