Lets hope he sees the sense of it in terms of regenerating the area, lifting the economy, jobs, all towards the Northern Powerhouse. Add to that would he be so stupid as to torpedo the GP project and what that means for the Walton area of the City?

Plus the Government does not have to put any taxpayers money towards it.

I would imagine that as long as certain things are satisfied, he would Ok it.

Like the PP process being correct, LCC unanimous approval, nothing being knocked down, eco stuff, that sort of stuff.
