Brown nosing Maddock and The Mirror hyping the Klopp rhetoric. "Revenge Mission" indeed. Who does he think he is, giving a Mark Antony speech - saying one thing whilst maintaining the exact opposite ? Its not hard to tell how long before one of his fake hard knock full backs plays the scything tackle on one of ours in full flight and the dullard mug commentator refers to it as " letting him know hes there.. perhaps a bit of payback there from 'Trent' / Robbo? ". Id give it 10 minutes max.
 

As ever, any angle to get an edge. Revenge on who exactly? Pickford? If they are fired up to try and injure our goalkeeper with intent, well lets see how that goes. That wont be obvious will it? And who will be this enforcer? Thevonecwith form is the one with the shot knee. Thiago? His injury mission in every game is the first 10 minutes follwed by niggly fouls after that.

I would be surprised. Grifters (which is what these people running these things are) will not be leaving a few hundred quid to sit in an account. It's just a con from some spiv to pay for his next holiday. He probably thinks if he can get a pound off every season ticket holder they have in the city, he will have 5-6 grand to tide him over.

The thing is, the real game for us this week was against City. We lost but remained competitive and restricted City. City are by far the best team in the league and they had to play at the top of their game to beat us. I doff my cap to their excellence and sublime abilities. I can see that perseverance under Ancelotti with good recruitment then we can compete at the top level.

The rs are just a hard working team with a couple of star players who are approaching the downward trajectory of their careers. Klopp is about to go full Dortmund and FSG won't splash the cash.

This game is insignificant. I'd rather lose with no injuries and overtake them in the latter half of the season than win and be struggling to overtake them before the beginning of the next one. We need to be working towards the Cities, Uniteds and Chelseas long term. That's happening I believe.

Put a fork in Lidderpewl however. They're done. The next volume of this thread will be more like the Sunderland one with goggle eyed bewilderment at their fall I hope.
