We were 3-1 up at HT against them last time looking like we’d score 6 or 7 then put in a horror show in the 2nd half and somehow scraped a 3-2 win

Carlo will want to reach a consistency in effort and focus even if it doesn’t always relate to consistency in results. But I think he will be looking at performances like Newcastle and thinking I’ll have less of those once I can improve my squad further. In the meantime the effort/focus he is getting from this squad is actually very good all things considered IMO

Just need to win. A comfortable home win is what’s required. Feels like we’ve not done that since early on in the season. Would love someone to get a red against us or give a pen away, or make a goalkeeping error, like every other team seem to get rather than teams looking perfect against us at home.

I think you’re right that Coleman and Digne will play, Holgate probably too as he was rested last game. I think it’s Godfrey’s turn to sit this one out maybe with Keane. Coleman Holgate Mina Digne back 4. Doucoure Gomes midfield with James Iwobi King behind Richalrison

Fulham always freeze when they come to Goodison though, even when they attempt to lead they soon fold. I remember one Good Friday game against them, they were one up then soon as we got one back they folded like a deck and we cruised to a 4-1 win
