My motm last night - did some ugly stuff well and was positive (for me he is always positive and tries to influence the game).
This lad has never gone missing or hidden in plain sight like the sigfraudsons or scniderlins in the squad, he might not be the best footballer but he gives his all every time.
Seems people have made their minds up about Tom - haters gonna hate. Must be burning the nappers out that he's played well.

As I said last night he's been playing well for a while, not one game in 6.
Some people are just so blinded by their dislike they won't see it
Wonder if the fact the second goal was directly down to him, would have been forgotten had it been James or Richarlison who never closed Bruno down?
He did better than his normal awful displays, but to just dismiss a major error due to it being Davies, sums him up.

Looking like a well deserved mom here... Not before time. Thought he managed himself against an extremely good opposition, and when instructed can respond to tactical changes immediately and have real attacking threat.
Personally think he was very good in relation to his normal standard, but that Doucoure and Gomes were more crucial
His movement though for the first goal shows how simple football can be and I can’t understand how the supposedly more able and technical Siggurdson doesn’t do that. Gomes too should be showing more of that. Was excellent simplicity and then with the final pass well executed.
he is also finally getting slightly better at tackling.
if he can contribute from the squad in parts of a season in that way, I’d have no issue with him staying but more than anything I think he needs to go because of his Osman-like ability to be an absolute danger to us when on the ball in our half.
but I’ll add, whatever Carlo thinks is best is also fine by me right now!

We have always been saying about lots of our players that they would do better if we could just build a better team. Maybe this will become true of Davies. He seems ambitious on the ball, beyond what you’d say his ability is up to now. We add more crucial pieces this summer, and when he does step in he may be stepping in to a much better functioning unit
Checking myself though, the vast majority of his games with us would suggest not. But I do love to have an actual Blue playing well in the first team.
