Of course if we get European football our stock rises, but I think we need CL football for most of the names mentioned in the last few pages to even consider us.

My personal opinion is Europa means nothing. Last time we got Europa it attracted Klaassen and Sigurdsson. If you're winning Europa like Sevilla or Atletico prior to them being a perennial CL team that's different but merely qualifying is pretty meh.

You can when you are on a budget and have other priorities. Centre midfield for this next window is arguably 5th priority after a right back, a speedy wide player, a back up striker (could be King) and a keeper, seeing as everybody and his wife hates Pickford.

If we have money left over after that to spend £40m (at least) on Barella then thank you very much, bring it on. ;)

I truthfully don't think our midfield is really that special aside from Allan and we've discussed the injuries. I'd be disappointed if there wasn't something done there this summer.
 
Midfield is the engine room. It’s the main part of the team that dominates games. We have signed 2 really good players last summer.
I’m my opinion we need 2 more class centre midfielders that have pace and aggression.
We need another keeper, right and left winger and right back.
Sell Richarlson and Moise Kean.
Richarlson I think doesn’t want to be here. His attitude is a bit poor at times. I know he can be class but it’s not often enough. He’s been a liability at times who has constantly lost the ball this season.

Back up striker and pacey wide man are both higher priority for the summer. Probably keeper too. Maybe King will become the back up striker depending on how he does for the rest of this season.

Do you think Hakimi would want to come to us even if Inter were prepared to sell. They only bought him in the summer. The only chance we have IMO is if we get Champions League football.

Bastoni: The 'new' Bonucci they say. At 21 and left footed if you have a chance to sign someone like him then you have to take it. Imagine him and Godfrey/Mina with Branthwaite coming through. Incredible...

Barella: Probably one of the best midfielders around at the moment. If he played in the premier league he'd be called 'world class'.

Hakimi: Not many better full backs around. Looks like Inter cant afford the next payments to Madrid. Would be a perfect signing for us at right back.

I think we'd need champions league and Ancelotti to work alot of magic.

Doesnt take a genius to work out who is in a better financial position...

"He doesnt play full back"...for Inter.

He's played full back before signing for them and his best position is as an attacking right back.

You know more about me than him, if we do sign him (completely theoretical) with James on the right we would have no cover there whatsoever? Or is he could covering defensively?
 
Can’t wait for us to sign Emerson, Hakimi, De Vrij, Bastoni, Barella & Lukaku. French football is in a mess so throw in Camavinga. Oh and Messi on a free.
