ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I don’t agree with that opinion. I do think the chances of him returning at the age of 29 from an injury like that the same player are slim though. They will invest big money on a CB this summer. Their squad is starting to creak now though. Will be a big test of Klopp to see if he can rebuild like Fergie did all those times. Players as skilful and dynamic as Salah and Mane don’t grow on trees and they will be in decline next season. To add to that there is no longer a market to sell star players of that age profile to fund a rebuild.
Fair enough, Jonny.

But apart from his occasional lack of mobility and more frequent misreading of the flight of the ball, his positives of commanding from the back and long range passing into midfield would be of little consequence to a team currently under the cosh. In fact, the shouting would just inflame matters - imagine, for instance, the reaction of the juvenile Arnold being told some home truths on the pitch or Firmino/ Thiago being lambasted for their poor control - and with teams reading their game more often, his passing would just become a liability.

He’s much better off on the physio’s bench, believe me.

Be interesting to see if Mane is fit for City or if he has been rushed back by Klopp. He must be thinking of trying to secure top 4 rather than going for the league now and therefore resting Mane if he’s not 100% is probably a better idea.
He is THE player they need to get back. I know they've played poorly with him in the team, but opponents have a lot more time to build when he's not on the pitch.

They'll lose the title even with him in like, they'll lose it more quickly if he has more games out.

He would of made a big difference to them from set pieces in both boxes. Anyway as I was saying big challenges ahead for them. They are at the stage where they have to decide if they are to continue and try and extract every last bit of success from this current group or try to cash in and start the rebuild. All their key players except their full backs are 27+. They also have a lot of players who are paid below market rate who will want sizeable increases which they won’t want to give to the older players. They will struggle to find buyers to fund the rebuild. Nobody is paying £100m for a 29 year old anymore and the £20m fees they got for the likes of Brewster and Ibe won’t be possible either

As a Dublin blue. He is the perfect representation of an Irish kopite. Make no mistake. They re much worse bread than scouse kopites. You have no idea.
I always found the Manchester United fans to be far more difficult to deal with than Liverpool fans.

His mum last night....
