King is so unappealing. A proper panic signing, which is disappointing if it happens considering we've know we will probably need a player of his type since the last window closed.

No harm in making an inquiry for King.

We can walk away if the fee / wages aren't right for us.

We need an option / cover, as signings go, he would be fine with me *if* we got him on acceptable terms. Thats for Brands and DBB to decide, if Carlo gives the nod.

Might be something in this, I can't imagine Carlo will be happy going with what we've got.

Surely the RS have got some spare talent we can dip into? remember Sheedy, Ablett, Beardsley? Their second string would walk into our team. I am prepared to beg on my knees outside the Shankly gates provided I am not on my own.
