All well and good but if Tosun goes, we need a striker.

Ideally, get Tosun and Bernard off (as much as I like Bernard we know he's gonna be binned in the summer anyway) or if not Bernard, Gordon on a good loan. Then get a forward in to cover the positions.

The more this window goes on the more I move from the “we must capitalise on the opportunity given to us by this crazy season” to “there is nothing out there we can realistically afford that would make us better in the long term so let’s leave it”.

I think we try and make the most of the desperation around all clubs at the minute and loan as many players out as we can to get wages off the books

We have been getting good results while Allan has been missing and even drew with Leicester with both Allan and Doucore missing.
If Delph ever gets fir then he can play in that position as well.

Up front is the area where we need cover more than anywhere else.

A better midfield makes

Once Doucoure and Allan are back there will be one space left in midfield (Davies/Gomes/Siggurdson). When Gbamin is fit, if he stays that way then hopefully he will be the backup for Doucoure and Allan. That doesn't include Delph, and James could even be included too as an attacking CM with D&A behind. Not forgetting Holgate has played there previously and done ok. Unless two of those leave there's no way we're getting another CM in.

First lads holiday I went on it was 1.8-2 euro to the pound. I got so drunk the first night!!

If he can prove himself better than Seamus he'll be our starting RB, and Holgate can rotate in the middle where he's best.

Holgate has played there, fleetingly was it one game or two, Delph could count if he stays fit, big if going on his injury record with us, like I said Gbamin could be the answer hopefully, but another signing will cover all the ifs, because there will be only four left in reality when all,is said and done, Doucoure, Allan, Gbamin? and whoever comes in with Davies as a maybe.
