ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Brilliant from Squires...

Everyone is clocking him now.

It's funny, I spoke to my mum last night, who's got a masters degree in phsycology and a further qualification in Education Phsycology (works in that field) and she was scathing of him. Said he came across as an abusive but charming man, who was gaslighting people with his behaviour.

It's odd, as she's of a generation that didn't really have the Everton/Liverpool hatred. Very much Everton 1st Liverpool 2nd (yes it hasn't passed on to me!). Loved the 86 and 89 cup finals even though we lost as a celebration of Merseyside. Whenever I'd go on as a kid about what a buffoon Evansm Houllier, Benitez etc were she'd always pipe me down and say I was being ridiculous. Surprised she kind of came on out with the stuff about Klopp, just can't have him at all, and gave her rational.

I think it's starting to seap through to the wider public really.

He's just really false. The pious Christian evangelical who likes to get drunk all the time. Doesn't really add up with him much. I bet he's got some really views on homosexuality and abortion and things like that. The more I see him, the more alarm bells go off.

any two teams around us playing in each other - draw is the right result

Liverpool are the much biger threat though aren't they? I mean the principle is fine, but if we want to achieve what we want to this season we have to get above Spurs. Having Liverpool implode who just be a massive bonus. Thats not a Liverpool thing either, would be the same for City. If they were to collapse, thats just a big plus, as it's one team you just assume finishes above you doesn't- happy days.

They simple have to be. They are set up perfectly for Son to sit in that space exploited by rashford & it's imposssible to see a scenario where they dont score at least two, even if Matip and Henderson come back in.

Liverpool arent scoring 3.

I don't think it goes that way to be honest mate. If Spurs win it will be late, when Liverpool's confidence starts to ebb away. I think Jose will play for 0-0 and hope a mistake comes later on. If he goes gung ho, it opens the game up.

Liverpool will need to get one early to settle the nerves, In fairness, I don't massively fancy either though if they take an early lead.

I suppose the question is a "threat to what" for me the goal is top 4; CA referenced it in press conference, with that in mind they are both the competition; probably of equal proportion; hence I'd chose the draw.

Yes the goal is top 4 I'd say. Id say if we want that goal we have to assume we are finishing above Spurs as things stand. It's probably between us and Leicester as things stand if it's a possibility at all. Liverpool are 1 of the 3 above who seem "inked in" in as far as you can be in what is a crazy season. If they fall away, thats a big plus for me, bigger than say Spurs, who we have to finish above anyway- if that makes sense?

I hear ya, for me it's only city "locked in" all other spots up for grabs. I would be shocked if United dont have a blip at some stage, especially if they get past Real Sociedad in the UEFA, as for Liverpool, I still think they are the only team capable of challenging for the title, but could also finish 8th, with ease - I certainly dont see them as a "inked in" at all
