Yeh don't know where you live but for me (UK) it's default French with English subs.

It does but like I say, lots like dubbing and the ease of it. Lots in this thread watch things dubbed. Lots of non-English speaking people also like watching things dubbed in English I've read to practice.

Doesn't bother me personally as it's a few buttons clicks to change.

But the default should be (and isn't always) the language the show is filmed in.

Meh, not sure I agree. A UK based account would default to the UK based language. Lots of people hate subtitles and would just automatically skip the show.

Quite enjoyed the 1st one (all I've seen so far) but I was quite put off by the dubbing.

Oh right, my wife's first reaction was "oh **** it's dubbed" but it actually didn't bother me for a sec. It is really well done

I paused it after about 30 seconds and turned to the wife "is this f'in dubbed". Id rather sub titles (I think). But it is very well done in fairness

Should be an icon at the bottom right of the screen on netflix...simply click and switch the languages / subtitles.

It's A Sin is really good. About the AIDS crisis in the 80's, focusing on a group of young friends in London. Can't imagine what it must have been like to live through something like that. The show is actually very funny for the most part but obviously with some incredibly sad bits too.

I’ve watched the first 6 series over the last month. I nearly gave up after a couple of episodes, but, I’m glad I didn’t. Seems to get better as it goes on. Very enjoyable.
