You are totally right. Now it will be even harder to tell whether a poster is just having a bad day thus the unreasonable post, or if they are really just pricks.

Hopefully Dan finds a rep baby in the future that is is easier to manage and cost effective.
I agree as a newcomer it gives you an insight that you wouldn't have had. And in fairness to you, you recently joined this forum out of the blue due to a certain player signing for us. But for most lifetime Blues joining this site, the chances are that they lurked for many months, maybe even years, before taking the plunge.

The "pricks", as you so exquisitely put it, are usually very easy to identify. Very often you can do so based on their first post lol. I think you've been a member long enough now to have identified the bad'uns without the need for a repping system. There is an ignore function you can use for the ones you find particularly offensive, and of course you can always just tell them. It's most likely wasted on them but it can sometimes make you feel better.

Personally I rarely used the rep function (positive or negative) or the middle finger except for retaliation, but that was a personal choice. The only reason I voted against it was the anonymous function which didn't sit right with me. Good for the WUMs on here though.
