Following Liverpool's move into tier 3 - ballot winners can't go to the match anymore but who cares? My travel plans are sorted :D

Another article on the Sky Sports app saying ‘Liverpool open door in title race’ so I have a little look and lo and behold they talk about second place Man United (fair enough) and... 8th place Man City. Yep, not a word about us or Leicester lol

On the other hand Carlo says we're not a contender.

Who do you believe? Carlo who thinks we haven't a chance

Or

Sky who think we haven't a chance

Tough choice..

With teams around us all playing each other in the next couple weeks this is a must win!
A RS and Man U title race is skys wet dream it's never happened since football was invented in 1992 and to be honest in my lifetime.
So they will do everything they can to try and push this scenario - whether its happening or not.

Carlo also said he was happy with our midfield numerous times last season and then bought three midfielders :)

Carlo is rightly keeping the pressure off the lads but he knows we’ve got a chance here. The last few seasons have had Liverpool and City absolutely smashing the league but this year is very different. A bit of luck and keep up this great form and we can be right up there.

...and no I don’t think we can win the league but I’d say right now we’re like 25/1 where normally by this stage of the season we’d not even be worth a look

Let the media say what they like just go about our jobs quietly and see where we end up let the other teams do the talking about themselves. That's when Everton are at our best when we go unnoticed there's less pressure.

After the two incidents in the derby everything was about us and it definitely got under our skin and didn't help with performances the pressure grew and the form dipped.

I agree although I think our form dipped because that grock St Virgil booted James in the back, and Richarlison accidentally got himself banned for 3 games, that affected us more than the mean press talking about how naughty the team is

We win tomorrow we are obviously in a very good place , if villa can do us a favour against the Oles lot, with them lot drawing last night that’s us one point off top I think the city game getting postponed was a blessing in disguise, who would have thought us getting up to half way through the season we would be where we are. The big question now is with jan coming up, do we go with what we have or invest to improve us even more. We are still desperately short in a few position,
so do we stick or twist?
