The reality is Spurs got a forfeit because it was Orient. They aren't going to make a PL club forfeit and they definitely aren't going to make one of the "Sky 6" who might be in the title race forfeit.

Nor should they really. Everything should be done to play all the games.

The way Covid is spreading right now you have to say that there is a a significant chance the season is not going to be fully concluded.

Perhaps but there will never be a match with zero risk until we get vaccines.

I just dont see much consistency in the decision making. Lots of teams have had a number of covid cases but matches have been played.

Is 4 the threshold? I really don't know. But surely there needs to be clear guidance.

I get there can't be zero risk but this is quite clearly elevated risk as opposed to a game where very few or no players in a squad have tested positive in the lead up to the game.

What with City still being in the League Cup, in Europe and also probably still in the F.A. Cup, they are going to have a massive fixture pile up so when the game finally gets played this will be very good for Everton.

Because that was a cup game so has to be played to fit in with the rest of the rounds.
A league game has time to be rearranged before May.
