I feel like there’s a lot of forum lore and mythology that casual posters like myself and all the lurkers are absolutely mystified by.

Obviously inside jokes are only inside jokes because they’re not known to everyone, but at times likes this I wish there was some sort of thread which chronicles all the major events of the forum and the main characters of the narrative to help people get up to speed. Otherwise without the context people like myself just see a guy telling another poster to get ready to suck his penis.

Although maybe even with context, there’s no real explaining that one.

Oh, and your idea of a thread detailing characters and lore of the forum is a simultaneously excellent and horrifying idea. No doubt it would be hilarious and illuminating but challenging. You'd need a safe pair of hands to act as scribe and fair, even handed, and sensible moderators.
