ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Here's how Sky reports fans will be able to attend games on Merseyside. Apparently we no longer exist.

It is only half the story though there are games on the 2nd of January so the four teams that play on the 30th of January have a longer break between the first two games but a shorter break between their 2nd and 3rd games.

it's not though, you're right if the next round are scheduled for new years day, where those 4 might be struggling with a 48hr turnaround, but its around the 2nd Jan, not the 1st

It's swings and roundabouts ,the RS also have two champions league games to cram in December, from the 1st December till the 30th December they have 8 games, in December we have 7 games.

and that happens throughout an entire season, everyone starts within a couple of days of each other, everyone finishes on the same day, if you're successful, you play a few more cup games. Swings and roundabouts, stop whining

It is called the festive period though and incorporates both the Xmas and New Year fixtures. If you look at Leicester and Newcastle who meet on the 2nd of January, Leicester have an extra 55 hours of rest between their 2nd and 3rd game compared to Newcastle which is a huge advantage.
