8 out of the last 9 Goodison derbies have been draws. That one was the Mane one when we had dominated the first half until McCarthy went off and then they suckered us at the last minute with a scuffed mishit. In that time we’ve had Tosun/DCL missing open goals under Allardyce, the Martinez derby we could have won 8-3, last season where we win if Davies’ shot goes in off the post.

The media bang on about us not winning, but the reality is we should have won far more of these recent Goodison derbies than Liverpool have who in general settle for a draw every time they come here now.
