He's a decent back up option and can make an impact from the bench. If a decent deal was arranged I'd be in favour. Even sweeter if we could swap for deadwood.

No idea about them, But i would not mind having him as a back up myself as i think he can be decent, plus i do think we really need a back up for when Even more Injuries may happen, I would be surprised if we get through the next 2/3 months without any Injuries considering we had like around 10 upto and including the Brighton game

Would have him in a heart beat mate,he's better than what we have in reserve.

Just described the past two months as the worst time he's ever had in his life, due to all the complications with his transfer. Also considers himself to be in crap shape, national team manager concurs. Also lots of blag on how West Ham are in for him.

The club believe in Simms. He would only be required to play if DCL and Richarlison were injured.
It reminds me of the great CB panic last year when everyone overlooked Holgate and assumed he was no good.
As well as Simms, Tocsun will be available till January ( he’s back in training I hear).
Sometimes we’ve got to take a punt on the youth if we really believe in them. If we buy King, then Simms has no future With us.
I think were backing youth.
King would be better off at West Ham where he will get a game. Why come here to be an expensive reserve at his age?

Can he be had for around 10m? If so you're not going to get better in the UK for that. Great age, low fee, modest wages, I'd be all for him signing as an option off the bench.

Appearantly the beef with West Ham is that the cherries are kinda miffed at them only offered £15m, so I'd say the answer to your first question is no...

Comparison to Holgate is a bit weird seeing as he’d played 40 or so Prem games prior to last season and Simms hasn’t kicked a ball in the Prem ?

That’s not true at all - Simms‘ time will come and there are plenty of games to play.

We should encourage competition for places to bring out the best of the squad.
