Whilst this could go very well for us it has the potential to go tits up.

Horrible visions of a red card to an allan or Richarlison going in hard and them beating us comfortably down to 10 could easily happen with these dodgy refs.

We simply have to keep our heads and keep 11 men on the pitch - treat it like any other game (Spurs away) and dont let the occasion get to us.
Luckily the squad seems to have shaken off the inferiority complex that still affects a lot of the fans.

Referee is Dalglish, and it's Houllier and Evans running the lines. 4th official is #23 Carra Gold.

(Referee: Michael Oliver. Assistants: Stuart Burt, Simon Bennett. Fourth official: Paul Tierney. VAR: David Coote. Assistant VAR: Lee Betts.)
Oliver is fine by me. He doesn't seem to get intimidated and isn't afraid of reputations.

I hope Thiago does play for them. It’s completely different strolling around against Arsenal when the game is won vs starting in a derby. Liverpool have often undone us by just plying long ball all the time and pressing manically. If they suddenly want to start playing triangles through Thiago then let them go for it and Doucoure and Allan can see how good they really are at trying to play out. I’d much rather be facing Thiago who hasn’t trained for 2 weeks than Wijnaldum or Keita who are schooled in the Klopp manic pressing game.

And the referee for your big game is...
Michael Oliver. It's going to be very interesting...

Also the word is Keita has tested positive for COVID.

Luckily we're classed as medium risk down here in that London, so I'll be able to watch the game in the Sidcup recreation club as I don't have BT Sport
Now had a call from the club saying that someone who was there on the day I watched the Brighton game has tested positive. Luckily that was ten days ago so I should be all right for the derby

I expect us to play a bit different against these, sitting in a bit more, letting them have a lot of the ball and trying to counter fast, a bit like what we did to BHA in the second half.

We need all eleven starters and subs on form including Pickford, but really I feel that this is a game for James to stamp his quality on, the sort we have been sorely lacking in this fixture for years.

Dreamt about it, we win 3-1. We concede first, then Doucs fired a great ball to make it 1-1. Stressful minutes till 70', Iwobi comes on, Coleman crosses, Alex' header puts us ahead. 2-1. 85', five minutes for the game to be killed, RS goes heavily for the equaliser, Richy steals the ball, a sprint and finishes it beautifully, 3-1, final whistle.
