Anfield and Goodison derbies are entirely different beasts. They want to win and Anfield and not lose at Goodison.

It won’t be 7-2, but I fancy us to get a result more than I have for a long, long time.

King Carlo's derby philosophy is to win at Anfield and vapourise them at Goodison.

First time in years we have a squad with James, Allan, Douc, Richy and Digne with players who won't be scared witless of playing the lot from across the park. Fear is the main reason why haven't won against them for so long imo. Get some players in there who couldn't care less about the derby pressure as I expect from the few mentioned above and things could be a lot different.

you know it will happen. I’ll be utterly amazed if we get anything close to our first 11 on the field against Liverpool. Even at this current moment Allan, Coleman and Richarlison are doubts and James and Yerry might not even be back in time.

Not really that bothered about this one to be honest. Would love us to beat that lot (convincingly or otherwise) but I don't see it happening, so I'll not be joining in the fumefest if we come away from the game with nothing. I think things not going our way and us failing to win against them has become the expected norm no matter what we do.

They're one of the top 2 teams in Europe in my view. IF we get a result, we can be cocky as but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

I’m fairly sure last season when they went out the champs league, they lost three games out of four around February time.

Yes he will. Very few players miss the first league game back after international breaks unless they get injured. Fatigue is managed very well nowadays

They will be on a luxury private jet back to Liverpool as soon as the match ends
