For those that missed it the first time around, the spin off TV series from the brilliant film, Mystery Road is being shown on BBC 4. ( Tuesdays late on )

The first 2 have been on, but you can watch it on catch up.

Aaron Pederson plays Aboriginal detective Jay Swan, in a massive swipe at both the Aboriginal community and the white Aussies.

Do you recommend watching the film first, or can I just go straight in on the tv series?

The TV series comes after the films, but is a prequel to the films ( if that makes sense )

So, you can watch both in either order if that makes sense.

If it was me personally, I’d watch the films first - Mystery Road and Goldstone, as they’re less polished than the tv series and much more gritty and dark.
