I haven`t walked it, but it was recommended to me as a walk last time I stayed over in Broughton. ( one of my favourite places in the Lakes )

Yup, we’d never even heard about it till today haha. Stunning 360 views from the top. Probs the best peak for views I’ve done so far and the walk is a piece of cake.
Just looked it up, didn`t realise there was anywhere with that sort of height around there.
If you ever go back that way, make sure you stop at the bakery in Broughton, it does some of the best stuff I`ve had anywhere.
Don’t you worry pal I go to the bakery every Friday on the way home from work haha. We stopped at Blacksmith’s Arms for a pint.

Our Nell border Collie died last week suddenly - my daughter who has a job in Art Management with a degree & masters in that subject drew, and painted her in the Van Gough style she qualified for Edinburgh University of Art - only 5 in the rest of the UK got in that year many moons ago - On hearing of our fate she e-mailed me this art drawing she did of a photo she had of Nell as we still shed tears - the original I expect is in a rougher texture rippled she mixed egg white in with her paints- It is now in an A4 wooden frame proud of place on our wall in the living room - its spot on how Nell looked -
That's really nice.
She exhibited & sold paintings in Galleries in the past .....but the commission the Art Galleries took put her off a bit .....so proud of both of my kids.......but her talent for art appeared at the age of 5-10.....
That’s a lovely thing for her to do for you Joey. It’s horrific losing a dog and I know that portrait will bring you and your missus a lot of comfort x
Ps - my dope of a brother does illustrations for the history dept at a university, so I know how poorly paid the general art world is !
