He didn't look out of place when playing with a forward line of Bingham, Collins, Young and Vernon.
Considering he had to vie for his position with Veall, Mogsy, Shirley & Ring at a time when we started to be

tbh, we were lucky to get Nil, they hardly broke a sweat.

Believe it or not I went in the Anfield Road end for his Testimonial game - a gang of us in my youth had a load of Bevies 50/50 reds & Blues , bored & some red joker persuaded us to go - it was a massive attendance too - half time entertainment a five-a-side of TV stars a certain Stuart Hall was on show in tight shorts........ he was so fat it looked so funny - who'd have thought he would have ended up in jail.....

Don't mind Roger the Dodger, I went too, poured down, got drowned - Tony Kay or 'A.N. Other' as he was then was MotM.
