Yes, it is true. It is an all time league table compiled from ALL divisions, so favours yo-yo clubs like Wolves who usually play at a lower standard than Everton.

It really is a nonsense statistic - and typical of modern media to make something of nothing.

Can't possibly be. Deffo not top division wins. Certainly loads of them will be in lower divisions where they might have got better league results than us.

Often find stats are very much cherry picked specifically to look more impressive than what they are. Probably in all divisions.

Saw another very specific stat for Thiago at Liverpool about most successful passes by any player in 45 minutes... by players that played 45 minutes or less in total of a game. Such a dumb stat as there would be numerous players who have had more.... that went on to play the other 45 minutes.

All about suiting agendas usually

The media wants novelty, so the likes of Leicester and Wolves provide that. Unfortunately, Everton have been a zombie "ever-present" in the top flight without so much as troubling the leading lights and will be dismissed until we start breaking transfer records and winning derbies on a regular basis.

We are essentially witnessing the fall-out of the Bill Kenwright years.

Implies but doesn't state explicitly that the victories came in the top flight. Maybe if you count their stints in lower divisions that's right.

Im not saying you’re wrong, but do you have a reference ?

Because in 2019 an article was published which had Everton, United, Liverpool, Arsenal has the clubs with the most English league wins.

I struggle to see how they’ve overtaken us since.
