Until we see any credible links i cannot see this happening.

On the plus side Palace have started well.

If he really wants out it would not impact them as much especially if they are bringing in a few players.

I get your point. If we got Zaha I just think him and Gomes may be the ones who swap if he plays as winger but see gomes starting a lot of the games
 
Offer £50m again. Year less on his contract and the risk of him having another poor season after what happened last summer, should see them seriously think abiut it. They still make £38m even after Utd's 25% cut

This year is the highest his price will be

I just don’t think they have any intention of selling him unless their price is met.
And no one is willing to pay such an exorbitant figure.
They are strengthening and have started well perhaps they hope that they can persuade Zaha that it’s worth applying himself to their cause this season.
Next season the price they can ask and the amount other clubs are willing to pay will intersect and he may be able to leave .
But he’s highly unlikely to leave this season.

They rejected it because he was still vital to them, now they are actually looking towards alternatives. Palace are NOT going to get £50m+ for Zaha no matter what they think. No team is paying that money for a player of that age whose record (on paper) is not actually that impressive.

Next year he will be 29 with 2 years on his contract, no way they will get a big fee plus they still have to pay Utd 25%.

If they are going to sell, this year is the one.
 
Palace won’t get what they want because he’s not in demand as much as they think. Reckon they will get around 30-35m tops. Each passing transfer window his value is dropping.

20-25m plus Walcott
