Good to see us playing with some street smart the last 2 games.

Moving the ball forward for better angle last week for the goal.

Richarlison clearly pointing out that the ball didn't touch him for the VAR goal today. In the past I've seen our weak minded players not complain and VAR not even get used !

And then James with the little nudge to wind up Gibbs and then going down to make sure it was noticed for the red.

Reminds me of the spurs doc when Mourinho said they were too nice.

Think managers like Carlo and Jose know good guys finish last.

Good end to the half but we weren't great - The midfield which looked like such an effective shield to the defence last week looked more like a wet paper towel

The balance in midfield didn't look quite right for a match where we are absolutely dominating possession and piling on the pressure but they have a good counter threat.

That balance will come with time as this team plays more together. It is only the second match.

I think Baggies have done a great job of pressing us and trying to nullify any passage of play from us in the middle. We need to have a bit more tempo about us and stop being as casual when in possession.

It would be lovely if we could rattle a few more in and enjoy however long is left when we get the third.

Have to be wary of giving Dean an excuse to even things up though.

I'd be tempted to get Doucoure off at the first opportunity.
He has been plodding around a bit him and Gomes need to wake up

That clown bilic and his assistant crying that’s not a red card . Let’s remember what richarlison get sent off at Bournemouth when he hardly grazed heads with there defender .WBA have no case here in today’s game blatant red card

Had it been a dodgy red I would agree. Refs do have that tendency if its one thats debated nd they're told at half time it was wrong.

Nothing wrong with his decision today though. I cant see him actively looking for it, its up to Doucs to not give the ref that situation.

To become a really good team, you have to go find a way to win when its tough. Good teams cant just cruise to 3-0 wins every match, they get knocked down, maybe play poorly but still find a way to win. So far thats what we did in the first half. Now lets see if we can close it out.
