It's bizarre how little insight him and Carragher offer. Absolutely baffling that they've close to 1000 games between them yet make the likes of Tim Sherwood and Clinton Morrison seem like footballing philosophers.

I think of him as a potted plant or a fern, nice to look at but of no discernable importance to the conversation about football.
