He knows more about his team than you and I do and has more footballing knowledge than you and I and anyone else on here does. If he wants Zaha and signs him, clearly he’s good enough for this club.
What nonsense.
We all have opinions right or wrong.
Nobody is perfect , everyone makes mistakes, even Ancelotti or he wouldn’t have been dismissed from Munich, for instance.
I have been watching football for at least as long as our manager and while my knowledge does not go close to his depth , I am confident I have built up sufficient understanding of the game to be confident in my opinion.
The same argument was was true of Martinez,Koeman,Silva and even Allardyce they all had a greater breadth and depth of knowledge of football than us mere punters. Did you never query their judgement.?

We all have an opinion mate. That’s what this forum is for. I’d like to think Ancelloti (his track record proves it) makes fewer errors in the transfer market then the other managers you mentioned.

I don't see Wilfried Zaha coming to us, to be honest; heard Spurs and Arsenal (still) are interested in him, so he may find staying down South more appealing than coming to the North West. Have Palace even set a price for the guy?

Of course I queried their judgment, it’s easy for me as spectator to query everything they do but ultimately they are more clued up and qualified than I am, doesn’t mean they are always correct, however their opinion and judgment, due to their vivid experience stands for something, as opposed to us stand spectators.

You can be as confident as you want in your opinion and you are entitled to it, it stands for nothing though as you don’t deal with the team week in week out, you’re not there in training to see what the manager does with them or what he wants or requires from his players.

So in that respect if the manager feels Zaha or any player, stand spectators deem not good enough, is good enough, then of course his opinion is more justified and I wholly trust in that - more so with Ancelotti who has been one of the best managers in European football over the last 25 years and has won almost every major trophy under the sun.
