Zaha isn't leaving palace, after the public saga last year, no one is interested. Would be good for a reasonable price, but palace aren't after a reasonable price they are after stupid money. Which they have every right to being their best player, but no one else values him that high. Our link is purely we were interested last year and he is desperate to leave, nothing new from us this year. Marcel isn't being stupid with money this year.

I'm saying he made the decision to stay 3 years ago and hasn't won anything in that time frame. He's probably changed his mind by now.

Changing your mind doesn’t invalidate a contract.
He could have negotiated a shorter contact, or inserted a release clause but that would have meant accepting a lower wage.
He chose the money.
Tough.
Contracts are intended to be binding that is their purpose ,in general life as well as football.
