Old Everton Pictures


This is out of a book from 1969/70. My Grandad knew Bill (he always called him Bill) and signed this for my Dad. It’s now in my possessio.

What a great team. Will we ever see their like again. Let's hope so.
And look at that midfield + Sheedy. And what I keeper. You just have to praise them all. No player get left out......No weak links........

nice poster. Bad result. This was the match that Jack Rodwell was sent off for making a perfectly good sliding tackle. It was a soft sending off imo.
We lost to two Liverpool goals in the last twenty minutes.

Ps.......always laughed at Moyes being called the Moyessiah. A stupid nickname imo. Moyes the stubburn. Moyes the hesitant. Moyes the ditherer......
Or at the end .......Moyes the useless........would have been more accurate.
Pps.........we do have a better club nickname than them though.........

They still remain our bogey side sadly even their reserves knocked us out of the cup last year .....
