I personally think Kean has a higher ceiling and I'd like to see him given an opportunity to establish himself. Dom is good too, but Kean has the ability to maneuver a yard of space and shoot that could separate him from an average player.

Kean needs to play more and he has more quality in potentia. He should be settled in now so it is really down to who shows it in training and takes the chances in games. But for a front 2 it could be worse and both are years from their prime.

I'd play Richi/Kean/Dom as a 3 up front. Hamez tucks in behind them. Only way the lad improves in this league is game time.

The loan seems like a way to push the majority of the FFP hit to next season's account.

Technically he'll be on a free next season anyway - would rather a permanent deal myself like to stop the media from trying to have him off at the end of his loan like they were doing with Gomes the irritating whoppers.

If DCL scored on 40% of his shots he'd score like 40 goals a season. People have a tough time understanding that shots that don't go in aren't always a negative.

His stats are really interesting. His xG last season was only 1.4 more than he actually scored. So by and large he pretty much scored the goals he should have been expected to score.
Which is all fine. In fact it's better - much better than someone like Gabriel Jesus, who I bet people would be buzzing if we signed.

So it stands to reason that if we give him more good chances, he'll score more goals.

BUT - it's not elite. Harry Kane for example outscored his xG by 10. Mason Greenwood outscored his by 7.
