Status-wise this is a bit like when City signed Robinho and everyone lost their minds because City hadn’t done anything for years

Like Ancelotti, the guy is way above our current stature and it shows fantastic ability to sell a project if it comes out

Say what you like about Moshiri, Brands etc.but in getting in Ancelotti they have transformed us more than unearthing a few young gems ever would

The Ancelotti factor lasts for 1 year... If we mess up this transfer window, it's a waste of a great appointment...
Brands is under serious pressure to make things happen in the next few weeks, and as well as bringing in the experienced players Ancelotti has identified, Brands does need to pull off a few other transfer coups...

100%. The remainder of this transfer window is make or break, we have to get these players in whilst the exciting Ancelotti project is new and fresh because if we’re not pushing top 6 in the January window it will already be looking like a failure.
