Italian press (possibly even most of Europe) tend to report with wages after tax so I imagine this is net not gross so need to add on 40-50% for the Gross figure

He is on something like 200k per week at Real. So 77k no way. I am sure Brands will want to reduce the wage bill but for sure we need him to pay 125k or something to come here

He is probably getting a big pay off from Madrid, that's why his fee that was reported a few weeks ago has changed from €8m to €25m, so James is gonna get a big part of that €25m and will therefore take a pay cut for his new contract
