Whos to say Chelsea have signed good players?

Sure they all look great in the Dutch Farmers, DAS SPL, but can they do it on a rainy Wednesday in Stoke?

Probably, but we shall see.
They’ll not be playing Stoke anytime soon Goat. Maybe it should be can they do it on a rainy Tuesday at Goodison....but I guess we know the answer to that.

Brilliant keeper. Kepa has been a bit of a let down, bought for crazy money as well. Bizarre behaviour that time in the league cup.

Atletico will have to do a bit of business in the summer, they def need to freshen up in a few areas. Are there any keepers in Eastern Europe that could fit the bill? - other than the young Slovenian keeper signed the other week. Just can’t see Pickford ever getting past this current form he’s in. Seems to have lost it a bit.
I guess Slovenia is where we need to be looking. Handanovic and then Oblak and now more coming down the pipeline while England have been putting out Rob Green, Joe hart, and Pickford.

Sounds like that Fabrizio fella has no idea at all and is making up his 'news' to match each passing day. Soon it will be "fee agreed", then if the transfer happens he'll look like he knew all along, if it doesn't he can come out later and say the player didn't agree terms or there was a change of mind by one of the teams. Easiest job in the world football journalism.

fabrizio is the most reliable source out there. To the point that the clubs have been joining in with the ‘here we go’

I have big doubts that Carlo will be backed. He should be 100% in charge, not having to take instructions from a director of football.
He has worked under a DoF at every club he's been at, pretty much. Only one he hasn't has been Madrid, but Perez sorted most of the transfer business and still does.

Carlo is used to it. It's more working in conjunction with, or at least it should be, than 'under' Brands.
Yes. He is used to the system.

If Abdoulaye Doucoure is the only midfielder we sign this window then we are going to get relegated.
That's the worry mate, Big Carlo not getting backed with 1st choice signings like Hojbjerg & Gabriel, won't get 2nd choice of Allan, we will end up getting Doucoure & Lingard on deadline day for £75million and the coffin dodger will leave

Can't blame him

The Express, via an itallian reporter, have said that Ancelotti has been in contact with the Napoli owner in order to move the Allan deal along and a fee of £31.5m has now been agreed. Hope its true, just to get it over the line. Given that we offered £25m and they wanted £40m, that's not a bad deal, if he plays alright
But yet if it happens it will be another masterstroke from Brands no doubt...:coffee: Clearly if Allan ends up her is thanks to Ancelotti, the same that only reason Richy ended up here is Silva.
