After that we didn't lose a game at home until the last game of the season

Then thats no reason to sign him. The desperate signings of the past 4 years has to stop.

If we can agree a fee, he comes to us and it’s as simple as that. Don’t really believe any of the Wolves/Fulham stuff, at least to the extent of a fee being agreed anyway. Classic price driving tactic from Watford. I’d rather play the long game and get him for a reasonable 20mil~
Anything more is a bit worrying but the club have wanted him for years it seems so I wouldn’t lump it in the ‘panic/desperate’ category. All depends on the price this

Agree - but rarely happens because it affects most players loyalty payments in their contracts.
