i would hate to see arteta go but if it means us having to swap for fernandes are banega id hapilly let him go since he has had a relatively poor season and plus he isnt getting any younger

Banega I could see some sense in, Fernandes is a massively over rated, underperforming hank.

We dodged a bullet there.

I actually belive there is some truth in this one, we badly need not to pay his wages, hes approachng 30, becoming increaseingly injury prone, we would get a decent fee, it ticks a lot of the boxes to be honest. That said i will cry like a baby if he goes.

Yet it may enable us to keep Rodwell, Fellaini and we have Barkley coming through. Ever Banega swap anyone.
I don't believe that. Valencia these days is buying only players who are out of contract, or have very low release clause (like their newest striker, Jonas from Gremio, bought for 1.5m euros). Arteta still would play 10m+, Valencia would never go for him, especially as they have plenty of players to choose from in central of midfield, and on the wing as well.

Balague on Twitter just said valencia aren't interested in arteta and mikky himself has told him he should be fit in 2 weeks
