Looking for a decent steering wheel/pedals for PS4 - an entry level one, around £100.....

Do forum members have any suggestions/recommendations? Which is best brand/quality? Anyone? Please?

Thanks x

Thrustmaster T150 is the best entry level FFB wheel, its about £160 I think. The pedals are garbage but all pedals that come included with low end wheels are garbage.

Thank you kindly. Looks the business that... Just crackers that the decent wheels are more expensive than the console (PS4 Pro). Had a look at the likes of Argos and GAME and they only had cheap and nasty looking ones....reviews online are so divided on most of them. You swear by the Thrustmaster T150 then? It's responsive and "feels" decent?

I certainly wouldn't swear by it given I use Direct Drive wheel that cost 10x the price of the T150 but my friend owns a T150 and having tried it several times it feels as good as you could realistically expect for an entry level FFB wheel. It's also long been the most commonly recommended FFB wheel/pedal bundle for under £150ish. It will be infinitely more enjoyable than using a joypad, that is for certain.

If you can stretch to a Logitech G29 then that would be a good step up from the T150... pedals are much better as well (as far as bundled pedals go) and pedals tend to be more important than the wheel when it comes to driving consistently. If you can afford it id go with the G29, they are pretty durable as well.

This is a good price https://www.alza.co.uk/logitech-g29...h2LrQLrEAQYASABEgLQ3fD_BwE&layoutAutoChange=1

Thanks again. Based on your post, the Logitech one looks a sounder investment, the features are so much better and it appears to be much more sturdy and innovative (simple yet blindingly clever things like the blue central strip for periphial vision). I only hope that it's compatible with the PS5 but I doubt it! Still, it'll run on a ps3 & 4. I'm happy Sony have stated the PS camera and PSVR will be functional on the PS5.

Bought F1 2020 after hearing good thins about the my team mode.

Anyone played it?
I'm hooked on the my team mode, dozen races into the season, the car hasn't made much improvements, but I think I know where I've been going wrong with finances and development.

The trick is to get it set to the right ai difficulty setting to make it competitive, and the ai is infinitely harder to overtake than in previous versions. Have Schumacher Jr as my team mate and he's hopeless but he can develop, it's a great game.

That pedals point is so true. Particularly the braking feel.

I'm still on controller but use a friends sim set up from time to time and it's consistently faster.

Also, tyres seem to last a good bit longer. I guess the controller gives jerky inputs, and the wheel is progressive/smooth.

Conversely I now can’t play third person like Witcher as it just looks so odd.
I think it really depends on the game. First-person melee combat has always been on a scale of very bad-to-mediocre, while third-person shooters have a huge problem with camera/barrel alignment and as a result have janky shooting mechanics. Since Cyberpunk will be set in the future I think we'll be mostly using guns (cant say for sure since I'm staying as blind as possible) so first person makes more sense.
