Allan has been at Napoli since 2015, but has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Gennaro Gattuso at the end of last year and has been mainly used as a substitute.
Why are we offering £34m for a player who will be 30 in January and his current club do not want? I have heard nothing of competition for his signature...
Tired of us overpaying for players past their best with no sell on value. We might as well have kept Idrissa Gueye if we are going to shell out this fee for Allan
