I believe that it's holding Israel to a double standard not imposed on other states, it's an attempt to deligitimise the state of Israel because it's Jewish and the threshold for it being considered antisemitic is met.

An anti-Iranian one in similar circumstances would also be anti-Islamic for me.

I am not Jewish and think that its actions towards Palestine are reprehensible to put it mildly. I would rather Israel improve its ways and relationship with its neighbouring states and repair the damage done there. I think that's an acceptable non antisemitic approach. Hiding your identity and masquerading as someone you are not to make this message raises many red flags.

It also ignores the reason Israel are in UEFA... Because every Arab nation refuses to play them or admit Israelis into their countries.

I really don’t see how that flag, regardless of who them two fellers are, is “an attempt to Delegitimise Israel because it’s Jewish,” as you say. Criticism of Israel is not anti Jewish.

I thought the same but my apathy was greater than yours in that I couldn't be arsed posing the question. The Mrs put a game on today thinking id want to watch it but she got the message when I sloped off to my music room.

Then you read the article and he says the whole squad should be given winner's medals, even if they've never played a game. In the same article he says they won't be handing out appearances like candy in order for players to get a winner's medal.

i mean, what's his stance? he expects the whole of LFC's rota to get a winners medal including the under 7s? i don't get it, he's actually telling the FA to change the 5 app rule. He'll obviously go back on his word and start handing out these appearances like candy, no doubt about it, he said he could never win the league by just buying it ... just before he broke the world record in half of the positions and then spent £40m-£60m on backup players.

I thought his statement was a bit mental but I kind of agree about the medals part. Let's say we were near the top but not top top and got someone who had been out all season like Glammo come in and score a hat trick for the last 4 matches(yes, I know he played twice before but humour me) to take the team top. Technically that player wouldn't get a medal even if they were completely instrumental in the winning of the league?
