Yes I suppose thats true.

I'd imagine thats what the old bill will gamble on, pull them in, take their phones, hope they've texted their mates laughing that they've snorted coke off a police officers hate, and evidence or who nicked the hat etc.I'd also say, most of them will be too thick to dump a phone.

I don't think anyone will get charged for that. I'm not a defence lawyer, but I could suggest it was just flour and a dress up police hat and it would be practically impossible to prove otherwise.

Damage over the £5k threshold has to be sentenced in the crown regardless of a plea, which he hasn’t done yet.

Yes I mentioned that threshold yesterday, and there was some question as to whether they feel the damage was actually over 5k. What this looks like is they are accepting the damage is over 5k, and won't context that part, which automatically pushes it into a serious amounts of damage caused. If it's at crown court, he's now quite likely to get some sort of custodial sentence. I hope it was worth it, trying to fire rockets at a building that represents the city you hate, to make your kopite mates who all hate scousers laugh.

It sounds an odd defence, but it wouild stand up well in court, you have to prove it's coke which is hard to do. It also would not be a trial that would be hard by jury.

Yeah exactly. Provided the jury aren’t all reds, they‘d be going down fairly quickly.

I wonder how many of his kopite mates, egging him on to attack the city will be willing to offer him support now? YNWA they say, until you actually need some support and the cowards desert the cause. The only thing I've seen them supporting one another on, was distributing images of a minor to endanger that childs life. They're absolutely brilliant at that.

Probably mate. It just seemed very odd to me. A bloke who looks old enough to be my dad, casually mentioning that he put his "mates" picture up, who happens to be a kid. I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation, but I don't think the above explanation really works.

He'll be capable of firing scud missiles out of his backside when he gets out - a punishment that fits the crime.
