ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Posted this in another thread but it's worth repeating here..

Quick list of shame off the top of my head whenever the spotlight has been on them:
2005 - Istanbul - Paving slab
2007 - Athens - Charging turnstiles and stewards (JFT96 doe??)
2016 - Basel - Fanta scruff getting filled in
2018 - Madrid - Fountain pusher/public masturbator
2019 - Liverpool - Fountain pusher pulling down a stewards pants
2020 - Liverpool - Last night...

Horrible parasitic vermin.

And Heysel...

A friend of mine came back with the usual reply of you can't stereotype a majority from the actions of a minority. So I asked him...

What's your view about Millwall fans? Usual response, but he asked what's the point. What about Chelsea, United or us? Again, the usual response.

So I told him to not be offended by them being tarnished with the same brush because ultimately there's been enough examples for this image to form.

Horrendous behaviour in the 70s and 80s, Heysel, Michael Shields, Athens, Seville, masturbating in a fountain, attacking the City bus, Rupert's tower...

... and now this. "But, there's blues like this too." Then show me where we've got so many examples or show me any other clubs with some much darkened history.

If so many people have an image about you, perhaps there's a very simple reason why - it's the truth. They need to take responsibility for that.
