I wasn't rubbishing him for being Irish, but he's another Liverpool fan, obviously not from Liverpool.

Defending bringing up ethnicity with a stereotype. That is a bit like saying black or Asian people obviously were not born here because of their skin colour. For all you know that individual could have been born here and lived the majority of their life here but were brought up in a different Country. If one of your parents was in the armed forces or worked abroad you could easily have a different accent.

Why are fans of a working class game playing the establishment divide and conquer game. They spend hundreds of thousands of pounds sending their kids to private schools, so they don't develop accents whilst the working classes tear each other apart regarding ethnic and regional stereotypes.

We know there is evidence of disproportionate mortality and morbidity amongst black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) people, including our NHS staff, who have contracted COVID-19.

It is critical that we understand which groups are most at risk, so we can take concerted action to protect them.

The key areas of focus for NHS England and NHS Improvement are below.

I have absolutely no doubt that systemic racism is a major cause. Systemic racism means that the BAME population we are afforded fewer opportunities. We are more likely to be unemployed, are more likely to live in deprivation, have more underlying health conditions and most importantly we are far more likely to have an occupation that means they interact with the large numbers of people.

That however has absolutely nothing to do with a tiny percentage of BAME individuals who are fortunate enough to play Premier League football. Your motives are abundantly clear, so please stop letting your hatred of the other lot from posting inaccurate, inflammatory nonsense about a pandemic that has already caused the death of tens of thousands of people in this country.

Next you will be calling for Werthers originals to be banned because there is a higher proportion of old people dying.

Black people are more likely to die than white people, on top of a wealth disparity. The report proves it.
