Only relegating 3 teams based on a calculation wouldn’t only affect Norwich would it?

Dependent on which PPG method they chose, there’d be 2 different outcomes, under one West Ham would go, and under the other Bournemouth would. How can that possibly have any level of fairness or sporting integrity? so sorry it isn’t a ‘false flag’ at all, it’s the key point for why a PPG outcome is utter gonads.
The whole rationale from various quarters for relegation is about sporting integrity. Just listened to the BT Football podcast and it opened with that exact opinion. You may disagree with that but that’s kind of my point - one person’s integrity is another person’s unfairness. Therefore, it’s moral quagmire not worth pursuing.

If it doesn’t complete, it doesn’t complete, simple as that. You can’t decide to create a fictional ending based on maths and not togger, anyone who doesn’t get that, either has an agenda or simply doesn’t get the game at all.

Not unreasonable. That said, I don't think Michael Calvin of BT Sport has a particular agenda - he's a top well-respected football journalist.

The picture will get even more complicated if we get, for example, 6 games done. By that point we could have virtually everything resolved apart from 1 CL spot and a relegation spot to decide. What then?

The push for all this is to get Liverpool over the line, after that they won’t give a toss.

Think the TV money plays a role as well. The PL/FA wont pass up cash. Media definitely is obsessed with liverpool though sadly
