From what I am reading the clubs still need to agree to these crazy proposals, with 14 out of 20 needed to pass them to re-start the league. Surely there are comfortably more than 6 clubs that would be against this and whose seasons are much, much better off being curtailed.

I mean, literally anybody below us in the league for starters... City (could only drop lower than second if it started up again), Leicester, Chelsea, United (will qualify for CL if it ends as it is).
I think a big consideration is that I struggle to see how transcontinental travel for sports will be allowed, will we see a champions league next season? Each domestic season may be under time pressures with starting late and having to finish for the euros so we may not see a champs league next season. 2020/21 domestic seasons will decide quals for the next round of euro comps that could be 2021/22

"All tests would be carried out by health professionals at a drive-through NHS testing facility that each club would have access to."

From the Premier league doctors article on BBC.

If true then the league should pay through the absolute nose for this.

Seriously cannot be drawing so much on public services at this time.

Top,top punning.

Fair enough less just adjust the league to exclude all goals scored between 70-90min you'll have Liverpool's lead cut by 20 points
Gonna be great isn't it? Soon the plans will switch from that to 5-a-side games where the players have to wear body armour and a zorb ball.

Travel around Europe for tourism will be allowed very soon, unless we get another spike, so sport will not be a problem at all.

Just for example, Spain, who we all know have been hit really bad are expecting to be allowing travel back in to their country late June early July.

We're talking about not playing 90 minute games now? Come on, someones got to realize this is all madness.

The thing you have to realise about sports administrators is that they are completely out of touch with the sports they run. Look at the nonsense that is the The Hundred, for example.

Gordon Taylor now saying halves of less than 45 minutes being considered if football resumes. Becoming a bit farcical now. Whats next? last man back is the goalie and jumpers for goalposts .
