Once you factor in we might not not even be playing for relegation , it’ll be absolutely dire and I say this As someone whose become borderline obsessed with Belarusian footy .
It's an absolutely abhorrent suggestion to continue with insane rule changes that can only be of a huge, ginormous benefit to ONE team in the entire league, and potentially an advantage to a number of teams challenging for 4th and 5th. Why would clubs agree to continue with the threat or relegation removed and endanger their players, when they will be fully in their rights to refuse to return until a vaccine is developed?

How would integrity be maintained when the biggest, richest clubs can benefit from being able to use two extra subs while smaller clubs, let's say Sheffield United, don't have 50m players on their bench to call upon?

I can't believe my eyes when I read suggestions like that, and then the just-as-insane advice to go abroad on some sort of jolly to wrap up the season quickly!

Just play the rest of the games via FIFA online and have done with it if they're so desperate to give the RS a title to a league that was never completed. It's just as barmy a suggestion as any of the others, and at least complies with social distancing.

O that's interesting.

Liverpool and Chelsea want Women’s Super League season abandoned over player safety concerns

Liverpool would be relegated if the season were cancelled and decided by points per game

Liverpool and Chelsea are among a number of Women’s Super League teams who do not want the season to resume over fears that it would endanger player safety. Their club representatives will relay this information to the Football Association this week.
Chelsea sit second in the table, a point behind Manchester City but with a game in hand. Liverpool are bottom of the league, with six points from 14 games. If the season were decided on points per game, and with the one usual relegation spot, Chelsea would win the title, while Liverpool would be relegated to the part-time Championship.

lol

ive literally only just seen this and I’d posted it , so apologies for that , my irony meter has gone berserk . I swear they have zero Shame , I know we know but still and all

Is there to be another pointless clubs/FA/Premier League conference call this Friday to further delay making any kind of decision? The money that is likely being wasted by all of this will probably be running into the millions already.

I actually reckon it'll be more than that. Koln alone had 3 cases and the players that had trained with them/shared the area weren't sent home to quarantine for the recommended amount of time. The club even made a player retract a statement he'd made in an interview about it.

The league then asked all clubs not to go public with their test results and they'll do a blanket statement from the outcome.

Sounds to me like they're covering up a lot of cases to try and push the re-start but I'm sure the players won't play amid lies and it'll all wash out.

Digging deeper on one of those Heil links, the proposed timeline for the PL and other competitions sounds utterly messed up, players coming back for pre season the week before the FA Cup final has even been played for this, the Cup itself having all remaining games played at Wembley, the 2020/21 season kicking off 2 weeks later than planned and a weekend before both of this season’s Euro finals have been played

No tackles no contact???? Oh my word hahaha. So basically a free attack to score. Then the opposition does the same from the kick off

This is the biggest joke of all the suggestions

Schneiderlin, Davies and Delph will be made up if we adopt the same rules in the Premier League. lol
