Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

The other investors - Reuben brothers are the " acceptable " face of this takeover. Staveley s wealth from this will be staggering. 10% of the Club will apparently see her make over 900million. As for the Saudis inputting a modest amount is wrong I've heard. They are going to really back the takeover and provide " considerable ," funds. Money has no meaning to these people really.

There’s a clue in the title - investment fund.

I’m sure they don’t see making two other investors a supposed £90m a piece for doing nothing, and off the back of their cash, as being of ‘no meaning’

If money really was no issue here, and they were leading this entire thing, then why didn’t they just arrive and buy it a year ago for exactly what Ashley was asking? Why has it taken a year of negotiation by Staveley?

You lot seem to be continually swerving this salient point, as it doesn’t suit the narrative you’ve chosen to write.

I’ve seen your fans smash up your own city when you get pumped by Sunderland and when you lost those 2 FA cup finals in the 90s. lol lol Totally ridiculous. I’m not particularly one for generalisations but if there is a thicker fan base on the planet I’d be really interested to meet them.
The lack of self awareness is incredible.
Wasn't I who brought the topicb of fan behaviour. I refer you to the horse punching comment. You're extremely good at giving it but very sensitive when the light is shone back at you. Can you answer please, have or have you're fans not, got a reputation for trouble making and does that not make you're comment on " self awareness " redundant. ALL Clubs have tools as many of you're fans have conceded. Don't know why the debate has come around to fan behaviour. All I've come on here is to discuss, how many Newcastle fans are pleased that for the first time in a long time Newcastle can genuinely compete. You seem to want to bring the conversation down to subjective personal opinions on Newcastle fans. It is natural that people will throw comparisons with you're own support.

Who's your favourite ?
Ant or Dec ?

I like little Declan myself.

By who? And how?
Given what has been reported in how much they intend to invest in the Club. The sponsorship deals for example. All of this is IF the takeover takes place. Best to wait but you can forgive Newcastle fans for thinking that given the wealth of those involved, fantastic improvements will follow. I am still cautious about the takeover.

Thing is, you need to take a peek around. I get that you are hopeful of getting new owners in, dont blame you at all.

But just take a breath, and ask yourself Why? What return is in it for them? In investment terms, Newcastle would be a satellite holding for them. Might work, might not.

We had similar when Moshiri rocked up here. Then slowly it became apparent why he and his mates did.

City was all about boosting the image of a country, Arsenal/United/RS are assets to sweat.

I just cannot see your lot lobbing billions at the club to get EL or a pot. They are an investment trust. Its returns/yield they want. Not glory nor profile.
