Bleated on for years about net spend, even had Klopp saying he’d never want to do it the same way as City etc. A season later and they’re throwing around world record fees in multiple positions in an attempt to buy trophies. Then they claim they don’t have enough money to pay their staff and so request taxpayer money from a government scheme designed to help small businesses from going bust. An absolute stain on football. They always have been. No club in English football history have stopped lower than some of the things that club and their fans have done.
