Actually, saying that, I remember a guy on the radio a few years back blaming 5G, or maybe 4G, had emitters or something in lampposts in his town and it was giving people cancer.

Curious on everyone's thoughts about this and if we have any mobile network engineers on here to put their two cents in.

My same cousin who has gone completely anti-vaxx thanks to the panic, fear and illegitimate "research" has now hopped right on board this bandwagon that the 5G mobile networks are going to be the death of us all.

I've been invited to this "Stop 5G UK" Facebook group and it's madness. There's folk in there who genuinely believe coronavirus is just a cover up for the dangers of these network towers emitting radiation.

Wtf even is 5G? What was wrong with 4G

5g is faster but apparently because it's a higher frequency and shorter wavelength they need more antennas.

The doomsayers are predicting this will cause the end of the earth.
