Cancelling this season's Premier League

Should football be canceled until August and this season declared null and void?

People are going to be isolated with partners, some of which they cant stand. Life is going to throw some huge curve balls in the next few months. Its not beyond the realms that a person pushed to breaking point injures or kills their partner cos of the ramifications of this virus.
yep, I said this to my mate the other day that there will be plenty of households that will be getting a bit stabby under the stress of this

Every pundits on Sky or BT will be told to spin the line "finish the league" because they have a vested interest in commercially gaining from no football being shown and they haven't even discussed the likelihood of this season being over despite them pandering to warning and running puff pieces about all the good sport is doing to help stop Corona.

Clubs are losing money and will be under the spotlight to be proactive in supporting fighting against this virus because ANY negative backlash at the club will face millions of pounds of sponsorships.

FA don't really have a say in the Premiership but financially they need confirmation asap to support the football community.

Players will be sick and tired of not playing be again any negative backlash will cost them money and the long this drags on the likelihood of them losing wages, moves or trophy opportunities.

A HUGE majority of fans want to see all football however they are agreed to "curtaining" the league because this is the huge threat to lives and football doesn't matter.

Put simply:
Our Government know how bad (they have balled it up big time too) this is going to get, we are talking potentially Italy levels here and we haven't even touched the sides of this. They are building huge containment arenas to house the thousands of people they know will be hit by this.

It's a very serious and horrible situation and I pray no one goes through this.

I work as police staff in an Intel unit and basically work has been depressing as this last couple of weeks but especially this one. We're trying to get ahead of the curve as to how people will react criminally to this.

Reading the likes of Aldo flapping his gums is normally funny but this week his ilk are driving me insane. It's a sport, it's not that important.

People need to bear in mind that something similar is almost certainly going to happen again at some time. It doesn't seem to take much to trigger it.

Perhaps we'll learn enough from this to prepare, but what if we don't or can't.

Aldridge in the Echo was an outright disgrace, essentially saying Liverpool getting a trophy is more important than preventing mass deaths.

Utter scumbag.

Aldridge god bless him needs very expensive and extensive professional help. I think he is a manic depressive and also a tremendous bell whiff of a man. Suspect to read about him being found in an underground bunker made up with banners and flags to resemble Anfield in his old kit watching VHS videos of himself. Trap door both sides of his shorts of course
