He came across well then but his behaviour around Suarez put paid to any respect that I had for him.

Didn’t he very openly racially mock John Barnes in the dressing room regularly as well? Sure it was in someone’s book. An absolute ghoul of a man, not got the slightest shred of respect for him.
 
370 died in Italy today from this and we are nowhere near the peak. A conservative estimate is that we could easily have have 1000 deaths per day in this country; that's a heysel every hour, or a Hillsborough every two hours. For weeks on end. If I was a pundit or footballer I would want my thoughts about this humanitarian crisis to be about something other than who gets to be king of this pile of ashes.

Spot on. Who cares about football. Massive deaths upcoming and massive job losses if we dont contain this but yeah let's argue about who won the frigging titles.

He’s an absolute nark just like Souness Rush Carragher Gerrard and Klopp. They all masquerade as the cheeky cool uncle type when everything is going well yet the second they don’t get exactly what they want the mask slips off and reveals the rats they really are.

just my opinion on this.sponsors should pay a % simple maths if for example somebody sponsors over the course of a premier league footballing season for £38.000.000 and it gets cancelled now then they should cough up the equivilent of whatever sponsorship they've had which would be 29 matches played from a possible 38 so they should pay the equivilent of £29,000,000.

Seria A is absolutely not starting up again... Lá Liga is unlikely to start up again..

Premier league will make its own decision, but the next few weeks will make all the difference (does countries going into lock down halt the virus or not)...either way I don't see the PL returning for 6-8 weeks at best... It's either played out during the summer (and still behind closed doors) or it's done...like you say, players may question why they have to play until their health is guaranteed..
 
Ian Ladyman still writing pieces in the mail about Simeone ‘Getting lucky’ against Klopp. So a pandemic virus is raging round the world causing football to be cancelled yet the Kopite hacks at the major newspapers are still so incensed by a perceived slight that Simeone might have out witted Klopp that they’re still waging a retrospective propaganda war. It would be funny if it wasn’t so bad taste.
